Description
This is not as funny as some of my other pics may be, but it is a work that I am particularly proud of. I made the snake out of a picture of a bunched up shoelace and then went on from there. You can see the shoelace source here: http://www.billtvshow.com/photoshop/snakelace.jpgThanks for any and all comments.

Ok, I really like the overall image, but I find it hard to connect the rat that's about to be eaten and the snake that's about to pounce. I'd say this is because the two objects are differently focalized on so the snake looks very close to the viewer whereas the mouse looks quite distant and far below down on the ground. Your snake is so close to the viewer one's actually scared of being bitten, and it seems to be going for something out of the picture - between us and it. The mouse is just an onlooker - is in the backtground and doesn't look too concerned either (ok, could be unaware of the coming attack).
Should you want to correct this, you'd either have to place the mouse *closer* to us or have the snake's head turn back facing the ground (and the mouse).
Such compositions are quite hard to tackle - especially when it comes down to finding the right source pics for the right places.
