Description

A drawing I made a little while ago, inspired after having watched "The Return of the King", and kind of mixing it with my insect thing

Drawn with a variety of pencils (including a mechanical one) on a little sketchbook (since then I bought one with better paper), size 23 by 16 centimeters. Enjoy and comment! Check my other stuff too...

I also think that even though this looks more like a character concept, I have a thing against floating characters, where there's no suggestion of a floor. A shadow might give your character an extra sense of realism, too.

I especially love the texture on the head plate thingy.

Overall this is friggin' cool!

Nicely done. It may be the scan, but I think your darks can be just a bit darker, and your lights a little lighter for more contrast. Kudos to you for drawing by hand.
