All Nightwish fans; recognice this face? Yes, it's Tuomas Holopainen! Through my eyes, as an artist, you're not a true fan unless you draw your idol...

I like the hair, but I don't know. What do you think about his hand, or his eyes... Too small...?

I used a photo for reference, and one pencil: my precious 2B Kooh-I-Noor Hardtmuth. And a little photoshop for more shadows...

I know the photo I used doesn't show the best sides of him, but I still like it...

i like Nighish too!

And I like the drawing... there's a lot of detail in it, and shadows are really well done. Perhaps there's something a little odd in the mouth... The eyes seem all right to me, and so the hand. Perhaps it's just a tiny bit too stiffy. But hands are damn tough

Anyway I like this a lot!

thats really a good drawing, i know the band, but i dont know the face of the musicians, anyway, in my personal taste i think its perfect like that. And the details in the hair are well done. +8

if you consider the hair, the light comes from his left, and I think it would look better with more shading then on his face and throat. Maybe the eyes are a little bit too small, I'm not sure.
The hair is very well done, the hand looks fine as well.

All in all a good drawing, my critics were only tiny things and more for improvement than for necessity ^^

Too big? Oh, well I always tend to overdimension the hands. I guess when I finally draw them in a normal size, I think they become too small, while in the reality they are still big...

NIGHTWISH!!! OMG! I Love them! They're like my favorite band! By the way, I'm jealous of the way you can draw hair so well...lol, the hands are awesome too! I think the only problems are the lips...and probably the chin, it looks a bit too long from my point of view.

Very accurate work. The face lacks IMO a little volume in comparison with the hair, but if you wanted it to look like an icon - it's perfect
