Description
This drawing was started more than 1 year ago as a sketch for a personal tatoo, then fell into oblivion. It was one month ago that I decided to come back on it...I tried new techniques for inking, and for coloring, and this is the final result...
I think I'll do a t-shirt with this one!
For me it is a big leap as an amator and I'm really touched by the feedback I get for this last drawing.

There are some small anatomical/shading problems, with the arm right on the picture for example, maybe a pose from someone doing mountain climbing can help you, since the dragon-body looks quite human
I'd work a little more on the background, add some more foulds and colour and make it clear what he's climbing. Just an idea.

I agree regarding some anatomical problems, because I've done this without any ref, as I wanted to try to createa muscular build according to my current knowledge. This is the way I learn... Now I guess I'll do as you say! take a mountain climber picture and study it in comparison to my drawing, to improve my skills a little more
Regarding background, it is a choice I made to not to put one, as this picture will go on a tshirt... I guess I could have add a background for web and art viewing as Genesm proposes, but I'n not good with backgrounds
If someone wants to give me an example?

Just remember not to print on a clashing coloured t-shirt
I like the colour choices here - nice underlighting.
