Your backgrounds in these last few pictures have been really interesting, and preferable to a solid color or plain gradation. I like them.

This piece makes good use of implied line. So, good composition. :)

I like the light/dark contrast in this one! and that you have used rough lines! Nice!

Agree with Katyra, the contrast here is very good. He looks like Jesus!

I love the active brush strokes! This is a similar style to what I am trying to acheive. Your muted colors though give this a higher quality that my loud paintings.

Really nice job.

I really like that rough style, in my opinion it's much better than many of those photorealistic pieces.
That color scheme works very well :)

Againi very nice style and execution, however something about his right eye is bothering me...like the eyelid is sloping the wrong way. I feel like I should be able to see his pupil from this direction.

Avatar Eilidh

thanks again!.. =)

Gianna, the right eye is correct. If you check 3/4 profiles, a lot of the time one can't see the pupil. It depends on the angle. =)

Kalimera, sas!

Amazing drawing! I love the roughness and the real-life look. Nice to see other Athenians in GFX artist, even though I“m just a foreigner living here for a limited periode of time :)

Keep up your amazing work!

thanks again. =)

Andrik: I used a flat rectangular brush for this one. It has a bit of a marker-like effect.

Eleni,

This is a greatly effective and definately a portrait. that works. And although some mini minor irregularities with the anatomy of the human face, the quality of this painterly looking work is too good to be spoiled by this. It has a successful look to it.
