Description

My first client work to be displayed here.
BT Leather is one of India's Biggest Leather exporters, with their main clientelle being from europe and australia. Being an International compnay , they came to me to redesign their brochure and catalogue, and wanted me to give it a futuristic look that would go with their new lines.
The cover is (except for the leather products) completely made in Photoshop only, kinda like my 100% watch. The futuristic ortbs working as display pods for BT's leather products.
This is a 24 page brochure, and the look inside too has been displayed for you.
The best thing for a desiggner is client satisfaction, and that i did receive. Also a tutorial for how to make these Display Orbs USin PS7 was requested repeatedly at Photoshopcafe, so it will be going up there as soon as my site is back up,
Love,
Omen

This is great! I appreciate what your going through on the lack of design material posted/commented on/voted on. I myself am a graphic designer, hell I majored in it, but I too have been sucked into the painting (my other major) section of this site.

In preparation for my website, I'm probably going to start working on more design works. Pin-up portraits and single scene drawings are a different world. I'm a big fan of 'branding' or logo themes, (such as the Nike swoosh you mentioned in the forums).

It's difficult to create a theme that covers several products to please several target audiences. I think this a great example. (thumbup) I give you.....my max +!

George,

While this goes lend a futuristic look to the leather products, I can't help but feel that you have way too many of those orbs out there that take away from the primary focus - leather. As for a technical point of view, I think you did an awesome job on the orbs, and the layout of the design in general! [+6] (thumbup)

Some very nice design work in this piece. I love the clean crisp look to it. And the orbs are great, especially the reflections on their floor surface. Was all this done in photoshop or is there 3D rendering involved?

Great work!

WYSIWYG: appreciate all your comments man:)

ThruMyEyes/Kaalininsky : Thanks for the appreciation pals,

Gridlock : Had tried the same cover with only 1 orb..seriously idid not look good. adding more orbs was more work for me, but it gave a good sense of displaying various products. The client too wanted the coveer to show their variety. Thaanks for the input man, much appreciated

Vgar : Thanks pal. There is noo 3d rendering involved. The orbs aare 100% PS, the only non ps objects in the cover are the leather product photos, everything else is digital illustration,
love,
Omen

Excellent design. Looks bright and very attractive.
I'm not sure about multiple faded images of the girl in the "Jackets" section (it kinda creates a lack of light and free space if you compare it to the other sections)
Very well done +8

think it would do better with less orbs. it's hard to focus and see what this is actually for.
+6 for the idea and professionalism. (thumb up)
