Description
I drew the fairy for a weekly speedpaint thing, got overworked so I decided to expand it further. And here's the finished product--behold all the clichés of fantasy art!

ps/ And how long does it take you to finish a piece like this? I'm still shaking my head. This is just beautiful.

The only thing that throws me off a bit are the clouds..the depth and perspective you create with them is awesome but they seem a bit wild for my taste (that's only silly nitpicking though).
just had to add it again..the top part of the sky where the stars show through the deeper clouds - that part is breathtaking..you really captured the sense of depth there perfectly.

At first glance everything is at professional standard, and I thought it was a commissioned illustration from you for some fantasy book cover. The theme feels quite common for this gener, but technically really well done!

Thoufg i must agree with Kyena about the cloud thing. They should be a little more "smoother" i guess, well at least the upper and darker part of them. You're definatly getting full score from me.

I love clouds but I can't paint them convincingly... the "ordered chaos" to them has always been hard for me to capture, I think I'll just keep practicing.
