This is one of those pictures I tend to call "jummy". The lines, colours, contrasts and overall feeling is just good -and so the name "jummy". I must be crazy cause he sure is groooose. Good work.

Kloud, I think your right about the blade, I should make it longer. kittykat, glad you liked it. Thoomas, 0/9? I think your out of order and I painted this to improve my skill level. There are differences from the photograph, because I didn't get the propotions 100% correct. Wouldn't it be a terrible shame if I had?! I PAINTED THIS FROM SCRATCH Its a shame you've been so cynical and presumptious, because I think your artwork is excellent.

Hi, Sorry about getting in on the ground floor here, I am new to this site but in no way new to Digital art which has been my life for a number of years now ! Anyway you dont need to be a genius to calculate the average scores here, As a maths Teacher I did a simple test and I am Sorry Thoomas you seem to have come out lower on average. That predator painting was so cool looking, I just had to make a painting of it! Im not a big fan of people painting exact references of photos. Yes you may be learning some basic lighting skills and painting techniques to make it look like the photo but really its just copying someone elses work and not your own. (unless you own the photo to start with...) But not bad painting anyway
