This painting was based upon a pencil drawing which I drew 10 years ago and recently dug out of an old box. The Light of Winter represents the Winter Solstice and the rebirth of the sun.

The painting is intentionally illustrative in style and was created in PS 7. It took a long time to complete as at original size it is very detailed. The original sketch is also included below.

This is cool, I like that the crescent on her head isn't quite straight. The folds of the dress are superb and the peacock feathers are the best I've seen. A shame you didn't post a full size version. Nice Stones BTW. 7/7
