I think she is trapped in a cave with bleeding walls. Possibly forced to be someones queen, if that is a thrown she is on? I don't really know but its good.

Wow, those colors are very sweet. I like the fact those wings are actually well constructed too. Maybe the blood in the flowers looks too sharp. compared to the rest of the pic; maybe you can add some smudges to it.

augusto: mmm... maybe. I thought it helped the blood stand out, but I guess opinions differ. (But after reading what you said, the blood on the wall is looking too sharp to me! Argh!) Thanks for the critique. yefferj: Thanks for the suggestion. I don't really agree with it though, I don't think the mood would be quite the same with sharp lines. I kept looking at this piece for SOME time....although I dis- and agree with some critics, I think you did a great job in sending a message (as in: emotion / feeling). I like it as I like all of your work. edit: she does not look at the bleeding lily, but gazes past it at something at her feet. She realizes something. The lilies suggest a lost loved one, but maybe she just lost herself. Angel wings suggest a lost tranquility or maybe something more like she lost her childhood which she tries to hold on to (the teddy). Oi...great pic...great pic.

Personally, some areas seem a bit too soft to me. Some areas are extremely detailed while some seem to have been neglected. I do really love the piece, though...just thought you might like a crit, too.
