Amazing. o.o At first I thought, what a strange photo, with that ambient light and ripples on the water... As I read it's a painting, my jaw dropped. The full view is beautiful, I adore how you mixed a special, painterly feeling of certain surreality with the photographic quality. There is so much in this image, it feels like it's an illustration of one of those Japanese tales where spirits play important roles and the air is sizzling with mystery.
What resolution did you work in?
And, of course, +10 from me.

It is a really nice painting, it has a real "is this a photo? no it isn't?!" feel to it, as is said before.
the detail is stunning and I really love those fluffy bushes in the front as well as the lights above the pond.
Its just one thing that seems a bit strange: the horizontal lines of the pond are not paralel, and it makes the below left corner of the pond fall down a bit (or the upper left corner come up, depends on how you look at it )

there's definately something with the perspective, I think it's misplaced vanishing point. The image seems to fall a bit to left - try mirroring it if you can't see it. That is how you usually can see your mistakes (which you probably know already though..)

Very good though, nice textures and realism, water is by far the best part of this one. +9

As a technical painting this is beyond belief...truely awesome...and i would give my right leg for half the ability this demonstrates...but...it's an image of some houses, there's nothing that invites you into the picture, for me it's cold and lifeless...and just a little cheesy (i could see this as a 5000 piece jigsaw) Sorry...I just don't get the point of paintings like this.

+9 for technical facility...10 if I had it....but 0 for aesthetics.

I love artwork that leans towards photorealism.

kompletnie odechciewa sie robic cokolwiek,zalamalem sie .Generalnie juz wczesniej widzialem twoja prace na DeviantArt,nie skomentowalem bo zatkalo, zupelnie jak teraz.Nie ma sie do czego przyczepic i generalnie nawet bym nie smial.Jak mozna osiagnac taka jakosc,normalnie jak fotografia.Mimo iz obrazek jest niewielkich rozmiarow to nadal textury sa bardzo widoczne.Szczegolnie podoba mi sie tekstura podlogi,woda i odbicie w niej to masakra.Hmm...mozna wymieniac tu w nieskonczonosc.
