PLEASE READ……This photo is dedicated to Mike Kurlowski
Who was so kind to dedicate a beautiful picture to me…
This is the last from the series….

It is a big pleasure to be part of this place…Over the last months I tried to do my best to comment all the photos posted…..I don’t belong to any “small group” and I commented all the pictures even if the author never made an observation to mine….because when I look a photo….I just do that… look at the picture and if is good, I even sometimes posted a message to others artists saying…”please look at the picture of this new guy…is great”….

I read some comments made in the forums about the scores needed to be an elite candidate…and I also can sense floating in the air, that posting a picture every day is not welcome by some members….So I have been thinking for several weeks not to post so frequently…..and I decided today to post a photo only once in a while...( I can not say how often)...I am not leaving this place…I will do my best to comment all the photos…I just don’t want to be a disrupting factor ….

This photo is dedicated to Mike Kurlowski one of the young talents of this place…All the young people on this place is so talented and I am sure Mike and all of them have a brilliant future in Photography.

Hello my friend, I respect your decision to post less often...I respect the reason you make this decision even more. You have a big heart my friend, I for one will miss your daily posts as i always look so forward to them. No crits on the picture.

And on the daily posting thing - as long as you keep this quality I wouldn't mind to see three photos a day from you, I already told you that. But it surely is a wise decision to leave some space for other artists before #1 to #10 in the Top 10 belong to you (although it would give a great screenshot)

I love the orange here~ so sweet.

actually I do feel that some ppls are posting too fast and too many..... and thus pushing others work far behind..... and can see all the top 10 are all for them....
but, just like Phryneas mentioned... if they are good photo, I dont mind.

but, maybe given those new member more chances to have their photo to be view is a good idea too~

Sweet and raw ~ very beautifully done Carlos! Something is odd to me, maybe the brightness and shading, but I'm most likely being over-critical.

As for your decision to post only so often, I'll respect it also. Not happily, since I love to see your work and can never get enough of it. But I understand, and will look forward to your rare treasures appearing every once and awhile. . .

Wow. There is something about this picture...I don't know what...but it is wonderful. It just strikes me as "good." The contrast is couldn't get any better....I love being able to see the minute details and veins in the texture of the leaf. You have done a really great job with edge definition too. I really like the hole right there on the bottom. It makes the picture perfect to me. An awesome end to a series, and a great end to daily posting.

I didn't particularly care for this series...so I'm sorry I haven't commented on your recent photos so much (especially since you have said something on all of mine)...But I must say that I really do like your work. You definitely have developed your necessary senses for photography far beyond what is needed. Good luck with your pictures.
And I will definitely let you know about that Joan Miro thing...

So many dedications lately....GFX has to be the friendliest art community on the net.

The white background is intense...the reds and oranges are intense...but for some reason it all looks so balanced. Great job.
