Description

One of two pencil drawings that I produced of Blaise House in Bristol (UK). This is the second time I’ve published this on GFX, (the first time I managed to submit a mirrored version…. Don’t ask?!)

I commented on the first version, clicked enter and suddenly it was unpublished!!

Anyway, my opinion hasn't changed, I'm still in awe of this display of technical skill.

Thanks for the comments,

If I have enough time next week I'll scan & publish my other pencil drawing of Blaise House showing the slightly more picturesque view from the other side.

I actually took a deep breath when I saw this because I was so Amazed!!! Its pencil and there are no stray marks, the image is crisp and so detailed. The cars and the trees are awesome. The textures are spot on. This is a great example of a truly professional work thats oozing with talent. GREAT!
And I can finally vote +10 so I will.

I wondered if the picture is drawed in that size?
Either way, you are extremely skilled in detailing. This one is perfect. No criticism at all! 5/5

Beautiful. You manage a real sensitivity in your shading and rendering of light. The only strange thing seems to be the cars - is that an old escort and montego out front, or am I seeing things? :) It gives this an interesting retro feel :)

Rob,

and again you astonish with your wonderul soft approach of the pencil. You also do not apply the dark areas with too heavy B pencils, as many, which often makes the darker sections of a drawing rather rough looking, when applied wrongly. You have clearly managed to avoid this.

Just starting out at art and this is an awe inspiring piece that almost everyone should aspire to when using pencil.
