i have absolutely no idea where im supposed to put this ~_~ i looked around at the other vector artists but they all draw their artwork and with mine i traced over the picture (the mouth head and neck region) and added my own touches randomly before i started meshing, but whatever, i think im abiding by the guidelines. i got the referance picture off of deviant art...i suppose i should post the link

any way, this was just a personal fun piece, i actually spent more time in photoshop trying to make it have a matrix effect than i did on the actual vector, haha. mainly because ps kept freezing randomly on my crappy g4 (i think because of the excessive alt language) but any wayy here it is, i like it alot and im using it as my desktop right now ^-^

I really like this. The combination of vector and digital looks hot. It may be more of a design peice, I'm not sure, but I still gave you my highest score. 7+.

I like the upward lighting effect you applied.

There has been some (heated) discussions about tracing, photomanip, vector and how they relate to eachother..You actually did the right thing (photomanip, posted a link) so kudos to you.

i figured about that much. there's nothing shamefull about vector art (with a photo reference) being called a photo manip, because that's what it is, and you're still pretty talented to do so! ~_~

well you definitely improved the original picture... yea just be honest and disclose all sources to your technique/process and most people will be fine with it..

I think the lips are bit too close ot the corner..not a big deal

great colours and lighting... and for future..I am sure you could take as good a pic as the one you used.. if you wanted to generate your own source material
