Description
This is a reproduction I did on a Leonardo da Vinci sketch. As a reference, I used a very small photo. It was really hard to make out the detail. I am very proud of this drawing, as it helped me to learn how to draw horsesTraditional media, A3 paper, B-3B pencils.
I am sorry for the bad quality, I do not have a scanner at home, if I get my hands near one, I will try to get the scanned one here

The anatomy of the guy is a little off, but the horse is superb. I don't see any problems with the horse whatsoever. ^_^ So, now you can draw horses, just practice with those people (the dreaded part of learning art- learning human anatomy...bah). Very nice sketch, Edite. You have a lot of potential. ^_^ Keep at it!

I saw, in both this drawing and your previous drawing post, a real sense of confident loosness, if that makes sense. It's a good thing, I wish I had it.
As far as drawing people, it's no different from drawing horses, planes, or apples, or whatever...it just takes practice and time. The same series of lines/shapes and colors that happen to look (when arranged a certain way) like a horse, are the same lines/shapes and colors that make up people and everything else when arranged in a different way. Again, I hope that made sense
