Sulariade: sorry, forgot to give the technical details. I simply used graphite-mechanical pecils and some darker pencils + tissue for smudging, works very welll.
eduardobedoya04: thanks! a little competition is good. I think human lips are pretty much the same, and how many creases appear just depend on how dry they are. Hers are pretty dry, no cracking yet. heh.
thanks again everyone.

But the hair descends too low on her forehead, and the perspective suggests that the forehead is flatter than it should be. I would also make the shoulder and trapezoid much lighter, so the body does not look so flat making the face "float". The body is as much a part of expression as the face, so use it - do not tone it down to pretend it's unimportant.

just the smudge from neck to shoulder could be a lil more clean

Her eyes are incredible!

There are anatomical flaws..but whether intentional or not...they only add to the work....for some reason this reminds me of the work of Richard Dadd...if you're not familiar with him check him out...I think you'll see what i mean. (er no offence of course...but Dadd did most of his best work from a lunatic asylum after he murdered his father....just a note of caution...hehe!)

sorry for replying too late
Arenhaus: although that was intentional on my part to try to not compete with her face, i can see what you mean, but i guess it was a choice that i was content with. Thanks
Wysiwyg: that i did, thanks for noticing.
Kaduflyer: thank you so much for commenting on this and "Darkside". It really means a lot that you said that. At your request, i've made prints of both of them. "The Inevitable" is up right now at http://www.deviantart.com/print/109580/ and "Darkside" should be up soon. Thanks much for your interest and for liking them "that" much.
thanks again everyone!!
