Description

TO MY SECRET ADMIRER EO...EOWYN...FRETTY...HIJA
Who was so kind to dedicate a beautiful photo to me...Link..
from your secret admirer by  eowyn

About the Photo.
Artifitial Light...2 regular outdoors flood lights...one at the bottom...one at the top...White balance. ( I am saving my daylight photo bulbs, they have short life and are not available in my country)
When using this type of lighting some parts of the flower adquire a drawing or painting quality...some small parts go totally white, where the light is stronger and the petals more translucid....The background looked really that white (99%)...some very small parts showed a faint blue tint..and they were healed...the flower is untouched.
I placed the flower in different positions...and took many pictures...this was one of my favorites because of the unusual figure that looked like a "Bite".

I still take natural light photos of flowers....but this kind of lighting reveals different details on the petals.

Really pretty colors Carlos! Great title too - you are very creative! I love the white background that you have been doing lately... it really makes the flower pop.

Good work! The details, focus and lighting are perfect.

This the best from your flower series,,,because it is so beautiful. The movement of the flower is the most beautiful flower movement ever captured...really...:)

this "cutting into the white" is becoming a style of yours and it works great! well.. what else to say? hm... I wonder if it could be improved with a bit different fontwork... the one you use is on the one hand not simple enough to be simple but at the same time not elegant enough to be really elegant... it doesn't really fit the rest of the picture.

I love how it gently flows from oranges and reds to olive and then teal/blue......it looks like a painting.......
Only thing to critique, is I personally would like to see the top of the flower......:)
