How many shots of the hopper did you take? While a profile shot seems the most obvious (most details/body to see) a head on shot, or a shot from an angle (like the front and right) would be an interesting take.
I'm up in the air about the sharpness...I think it's ok, play around with 'Unsharp Mask' in Photoshop, or try the Robert Mekis sharpening technique...I don't have a link right now, but I know
