Description
A revision of an older painting. You can see the original one in my gallery section. It's still not a perfect piece (compositionally, and tonally), but I'm much happier with it now. It's fun to revisit an old subject from time to time, to assess how much (or how little) you've learned.
Done in Photopaint 10 at 2000 pixels tall.

reminds me of adam's apple.
maybe a more contrast in light might improve more on this piece? hmm...maybe it might kill the mood u have now....

Concerning this painting, color scheme and brush strokes envokes me a pastel drawing. You have perfectly captured calm mood of summer evening. Girl expression looks like something just draw her attention while she was ready to grab an apple. That's nice and it looks so natural.
As a main subject of the painting I believe girl deserves more details. Everytime when I look to this painting she immediatelly draw all the attention so I believe a little more precission in the highlights, shadows and shapes would improve overall feeling a lot.
