You know my opinon on color, but I wont let that affect anything. You managed the colors well. The composition alone gets a 10 in my book. The birds are great and the reflection is a very nice touch. Very sharp and clear. The ripples at the top I font care for, but thats just my personal opinion.

I like the cropping better on the original photo. Seeing more of the water, gives it more of an enveloping feel to the image. You can either be calmed by it or feel enclosed by it. I would even consider taking out the rope so that the boat seems to be drifting aimlessly. Could change the whole meaning to the image though.

Does it make sense when I say I can feel the cold crisp air of it all??? I think I could go for more of the water being visible...but I still like it none the less. I'm figuring it's the lack of an obvious horizon line that is throwing everyone off. Me...I like it.
