Good Textures! 7/9

I like it very much! No crits really.

More interesting Textures, creative use of materials! The sliver of moon seems just a little lost in the midst of the heavy cloud...

I love photo manips in this style. I've done a couple pieces myself using similar concepts, but I usually use rusted car photos. (Eventually I'll post some of my photo manip work.. Heh)

You did a lot with just that one image, but I think perhaps you should have considered adding more detail - either with a second or third source, or by manipulating the source image a bit (rotate, clone brush using the colors and textures as a pallate).. For instance, the top of the building needs something, in my opinion. It needs a little more definition - like the teeth on the top of a castle's turret.

Just my opinion though - And as you will learn if you haven't already, artists' opinions vary wildly - and some refuse to acknowledge others

As for detailing the picture: for me its always tricky to find the right moment to stop - I realized that if I spend too much time polishing the details it often kills the atmosphere of the pic.
But You may be right about the castle
