Cool! One thing though, you have very nice texture for the background, but his skin is super smooth. It should be the other way round in fact. I'm not sure how you got the background texture (looks like a noise filter, but what do I know), but it would be great if you could apply it selectively to his face so that it looks less blended. My two cents. ^^

Thanks for all the comments. His ear looks funky because it kind of wraps around his head, so the outer part you see is actually part of his inner ear. Liiga, your totally right, it should be the other way around.
