I love the top half, but the bottom is almost ....too angled/square. (Unless you use flash stuff over the top of it) <-can't you tell that I know nothing about making websites..heh heh?
I kinda like the bigger tabs - easier to click and find, especially for impatient and/or older customers... Then again, I would really enjoy seeing a full size version to decide for sure.
The search bar kinda throws me off - The transparent area around that is a little big (again, unless you have flash writing or other stuff going on there, perhaps frequent search topics, etc.)
Colors are great! And the background pic - good, too - not really a whole lot to pick apart, really! It's looks very cool!

First the red. It works fine in the logo (cause its large) and the photo, but everything else is way too dark/saturated on an already dark/saturated background. It's very hard on the eyes and takes attention away from the section titles.
The section titles themselves are too bright. Pure white on a dark background, with minimal spacing around them is also very hard on the eyes.
A little tracking would help here too. Plus a off white/gray would match the navigation.
The slogan is hard to read/see. The text is a bit small and is overpowered by the contrast created by the navigation. It could almost go unnoticed. If you bump up the point size a bit, and realign it....most likely centered V&H then it would be easier to find/read. It would also match the alignment of the icons and help guide your eye over each.
With the sections below, be careful of alignment & border spacing. Usually these should be equal making it easier for the eyes to scan. The same is true for the section titles (box & text). Alot of the problems im seeing are only 1px off, though still important.
One last issue with the sections is contrast. Try to use contrast to build a hierarchy of importance. For example the left green box. Its much darker than the rest, so my eyes scan that first. The most useful information should go here. Next my eyes scan to the two boxes on the bottom (2nd darkest). But being both the same color, im not sure which to look at first. We read left to right, so put the least important information on the right. Because they are 2nd dakest, im actually overlooking the 2 boxes above it. You need some way to increase contrast or draw attention to those first. And put more relevant information up there than at the bottom.
That sounds like alot I know, but 10 mins worth of tweaks will improve this layout greatly.
