I would have liked to see you push the contrasts (darker darks especially) to help give it even more of an eery mood.

DigitalDust: Thank you, i tried hard to get that. I totally agree with you with the contrast. It was actually much lighter, and i darkened the shadow side, but then I couldn't let go of the details i've put on that side or else it'd be completely black, with just the glint of light on her right eye. It would be more emotional, i'll have to rethink that. I've seen cross-hatching that follows the contours of the surfaces, looks kinda hard, so i've got to try that. Thanks again!

EXREMELY delicate modelling of expression and anatomy. Nothing is easier to abuse and mishandle than human anatomy; you are developing a wonderful sense of movement and weight in your drawings. Kepp exploring tonality and burn your scanner to the ground Have you investigated digitally photographing your drawings as an alternative to scanning? Might not be an improvement, but allow you a little more control...
