I really like the surface the cameras are resting on. It adds nice texture to the photo. I love the lighting and I think you captured the details well. Nice work!

Hey thats great, my dad has the same model buried away somewhere. The light meter doesn't work properly, but it can still shoot photos. I should dig it out.

Nice set of photos! I haven't used film in soo long! One does miss it from time to time, but then I think of how much better my work has become since I started using digital, and photoshop. Well I was going to give this full score, but now I wish I could give you a higher score for the good memories.

Perhaps a bit dark but it's nice to see this old photography equipment. Pentax was THE name in cameras back in the 70's. You've composed these shots well.

Good work

A photo of a photo! :) Nice shot, god composition and a nice black and white. It reminds me of the 19 century somehow...

A bit dark but looks really fine, with a really oldschool mood.I don't like the 4th and 6th photo in the full version. The 4th lacks a good, simple background (there is a cover). The 6th is much too dark. +7

the title caught my attention, as i grew up on hip-hop (before rap came about) and i love seeing older cameras. it's hard to give a critique on this (i really liked the full version), but it may have been a little better with the focus depth higher to get detail of 'everything' and the lens on the right is cropped just a hair. great shots. very well done. (my highest rating is only five, but it's yours.) good choice on grayscale, of course.

one thing you may want to try that i've been playing around with is to take the shot in a light-controlled room with a long exposure while moving your light source from side to side (or just 'around') - it really brings out the 'feel' of metal, slick rocks and other smooth/reflective surfaces. plus, the lens on the camera would have a nice arched line of light on it instead of dots.
