Why did you do the hood green? By doing that you've linked it with the tree in the background and confused the image
The light is too much like a spotlight - too sharp
Composition-wise, the wall edge cuts the image in half, breaking it up. It would have been better either all wall, or all desert.
The sky would be better as desaturated orange, that strong blue distracts the eye and doesn't fit

The "window" to the desert refer to the title (waiting). From were she waits? she is in a castle and that is the conection with her hope of meet somebody.

Tree represents the time. I dont now how long she is waiting.

The spot light is just a composition reference to the golden section.

I agree that the light on her face is a little bit too intense, and I think the background needs to be "distanced" from the wall. At first glance it looks like it's a painting hanging on the wall. Perhaps it should be a bit blurry (since the foreground is in focus) and desaturated.

I don't think it's a big deal that the hood is the same color is the tree. The shirt I'm wearing right now is the same color as my carpet, yet I can still tell which is which.

Anyway, good job!

ahh you can see that you improved! you had never problems with style, only with proportions... you can see that the eyes are still a little bit "wrong" but its just a slight error..

5/5 because now, everything, composition, style, and the face is beautiful !
