Description

The name, Soft-Shell Knight comes from a Japanese delicacy called Soft-Shell Crab, a special kind of crab which has a soft shell and is lightly fried. Delicious! And now, you see the analogy, right?

excellent work on the armor and horse... what's he riding away from? I can't quite make it out

I love the detail in this work! Especially the armor and the ax. I also love the angle and pose which the knight is in. Fits perfectly with the scene.

One thign I find a little odd is the horses face. It seems a little.....skewed or something. Around the eyes... EDIT: Just read your making of and I see now that the horse is supposed to look freaked out.....hehe

Also, that is one GIANT fire breathing dragon. So many bodies lol........

Love it.........Brilliant composition!

Hey, that would be a fine poster to put on my wall!
I like everything here, except that I think the character and the horse are placed a bit too close to the edge of the pic. That's all.

Quite nice ! My only crits would be that the dragon is way too blurred. Not that it should be perfectly on focus, the idea of having it a bit out of the depth of field is cool... But if it's near enough to breath fire on the knight... it shouldn't be blurred that much.

Good work !

that's totally awesome.
I agree that the dragon in the back is a tad bit blurry but it works very well despite that fact.

Armor, knight, horse, movement = topnotch :)

excelent work !! nice colors
i cant "read" what is he riding away from.. is it a monster ? btw it is a great piece!!

he's riding away from a DRAGON. There's a huge dragon head that takes the whole background. It's a bit blurry on purpose (depth of field), but maybe I should focus the dragon's eyes a bit more. I'll work on that later :)
