Description

Wong Yue is a girl that worked at the cosmetic shop my wife owned. She has doll-like features, and I thought it would be interesting to shoot her interacting with a doll. I wanted the interaction to be more than just merely on the surface, but also something communicated deeper between them--like a voiceless exchange of thoughts and feelings between a living doll and an inanimate one.

It's a very beautiful shot and the communication works just fine.
I think it's a pity that we don't see more of her face to be able to see her features thought. I think it would make the idea behind the picture even more powerful.

The idea and the concept is charming. But the image is not clear. A little bit confussing.
I would love to see this image again, if you can show a little more of it.

i think a larger crop zoomed out would have been better. it is lovely as is but there needs to be more focus on her eye, tis a bit blurry still. no one takes a lot of shots of face contact though and i think this is successful. good work
