I'm not sure what to think of the framing. The inner photo seems quite calm and relaxed to me (not necessarily lonely) while the underlying photo is very dark and rough. It's not a very unpleasent effect though, just.. slightly odd.

I don't mind the darkness of the picture because it really enhances and fits the mood!...very well done!....I do agree....the framing is a little distracting!

the frame is indeed distracting, maby you could try a fifrent one it whould make the picture much better

i like the frame - the image itself gives the impression of either calm and relaxed or dark sad and sultry the course effect of the frame is the enhance the sadness of the image - i think those not liking the frame dont like the sad possibility of the image

Most of you don't realize, that the photo itself is a portrait of me, the framing is my personality.
The photo is plank, emotionless, just curious and content.
The frame is who I am, I am not one solid creature.
The colors on the left of the frame, only symbalize my life, confusion everywhere you look, something you could only find with a teenager.
To the right is who I am when I am alone, I know who I am and I have ground to stand on, no one can take it from me, and the colors are my menevolent side, what no one can see without my permission. And even with that, it destroys itself before colliding with my life, like a split personality hideing in the shadows.
Now you want to tell me this frame, this reflection of my soul, clashes with my physical looks.
You may be right, but you don't have to tell me twice.
