Description
Hey everyone, finally a new series from me! Both in color and black and white, this series showcases the Biltmore Estate located in Asheville, NC. Built in 1895, it is America's largest home, a chateau, visit their website. Keep looking back here for more from the series! (I even got pictures inside the house, even though photography isn't allowed, shh!)This specific photograph was taken in the garden area that connects to the chateau. Hmm.. how to describe it? Well, I feel like falling in love with the scenery and I feel that anyone else could as well. The color across the landscape was a gorgeous blue haze... I'm sorry I didn't have a better camera with me! This one didn't do the scenery justice, but I did my best with what I had at the time. Crits welcome as always.
Cheap Automatic Canon Camera w/no focus/exposure settings
Cheap Kodak film
Scanned w/Nikon CoolScan
Color corrections made in PS CS
(yeh, still no digital camera)

especially the emptyness in the middle. it gives me the feeling that there is somthing to be seen.
it gives the illusion of a full and compact space though there is only a void.
i love it!
