Description

I'm a bit wary about posting fanart, I hope this is ok. Dream from DC Comics' Sandman.

Cool work, the anatomy is great. ;) Maybe a few more red shades here and there would add a cool effect to the white skin, like you did on the nose. The background is a bit flat, try adding more colours to it, and less gray.

I like it , its very artistic ... I see the power of your hand in connection with your mind .... brilliant job but lighting is not balance yet .
beside lighting everything is great . composition of hand and body is working very good , background in right above seems a bit poor tough but I am sure you wanted to bold and spotlight the main object in picture which the Sandman. I like your work pretty much ... keep it up and send more artworks
waititng to see more works from you :)

cheers,
ahoora

Lovely piece. There's a lot of movement in the syle of the painting that I really like. It reminds me of Jeffery Jones. And I hope it's okay to put this up because I have Gaiman's Death on my page ;)

Great work, the background seems a little too rough though.

i love it but something's missing in the background, you could have added more especially in the black area (his right side) . and btw, where's matthew?

Thanks all! As far as the roughness of the background, it was something I wanted to do intentionally. It seems that seem folks thinks it works better than others. I am still trying to find a balance between retaining a certain looseness and energy to my pieces and rendering them out. I appreciate the constructive crits! :)

Wow, very nice and very sexy ;) I like this somehow rough style, the background looks interesting, so looks the guy in the front. Especially anatomy is fantastic.
