Pencil drawing of my favorite JPop singer, Ai Otsuka, using photo reference.Most of this was done with a mechanical pencil and a tortillon. I also used HB, 2H, B, and 6B pencils. I used an eraser to "draw" the highlights in her hair. I lost track of time while working on this, but I would guess it took around 12-15 hours.

edit: yeah i saw that already. i was tripping that time probably. havin these eye strain all the time.. good job! now that i saw the reference. the lips is really a lil tilted cz of the head.. hehe!

Luke...if you look closely, you'll see that her entire head is tilted; that's why the mouth is tilted too (notice as well that the right eye is slightly higher than the left, and the same goes for the ears). As for the nose, I'm not sure what you mean.

only small thing is that the hair seems too in contrast with the bg...i mean...it doesnt make a really evident transgression...u could make more details to the hair...so it can blend in
but overall its kewl
