ArtRage 2

ArtRage 2.0 is a fun and easy to use painting tool for Windows and Mac OSX that lets you play with realistic paints on your computer. You can create your own paintings from nothing, load in photos and recreate them with oil paints, pencils, felt pens, or any of the other tools ArtRage has to offer. You can experiment with metallic paint for gold leafing, sprinkle shiny glitter, fill in large areas with the paint roller, and generally paint, smudge, and smear your way to your very own masterpiece.

This new version of ArtRage comes in two versions. The Full Edition gives you all the new features, including four new tools, layers, metal paints, and much more for only $19.95US. Because of the support we received for ArtRage 1 we wanted to make a Free Edition as well that gives you all the tools ArtRage 1 had, with speed and tablet enhancements, and a few new things thrown in for good measure. It's great they decided to keep one version for free, at least there's one good looking alternative still alive.

What's the resolution on this? I seem to recall the older version limited the size of the artwork you could produce.

Well, I haven't seen any info about size limitations for this version, and when I wanted to test it by creating a 10000x10000 px image, it slapped me with a 'You don't have enough memory for this'-style pop up dialog.
