New Digital Arts magazine

Imagine FX is a new digital artwork magazine that features both professional and hobbyist digital artists alike, many artists who are members here feature in the latest issue. The magazine consists of interviews with artists, news items on related tools and technology and tutorials/tips on creating digtial artworks. This months magazine also features a DVD with various tips from the professionals. I picked up a copy of the magazine when I was in London today and have to say that it's a good read, with very intersting articles and glossy pictures of the various artworks.

So... does this magazine only release in UK?
Or is there any big book store in a big city in Germany where I would have a chance to get it?

You can buy it in the U.S. I've seen it at Borders.

FuturePublishing...

They also do Computer Arts and Computer Arts Projects...I suscribe to both as it's quite hard to get every issue of an imported U.K. magazine. I just moved and the Barnes & Noble sucks...no Borders..and the Books A Million has virtually no art section :(

so how do people get in magazines? do you submit your work to them asking them to feature you or do they just find you and ask you to be in the next issue? Just curious as I am sooo bad at networking and getting myself known.

P.S I am not saying I would be good enough to be in a mag but I am just interested in the process.

All you do is send them a CD with least FOUR hi res images a picture of your self and a detailed CV.

Then they decide if they put you in or not.

I drew all over the enelope i sent them so maybe that got there attention haha.

The submission adress is,

FXPOSE,
IMAGINEFX,
30 MONMOUTH STREET,
BATH,
BA12BW

I saw this in the morning and immediately went to the closest Borders in NYC and grabbed it. It's amazing. I'm going to sign up for a subscription.
