So it's like a free version of Corel Painter? It has pretty much the same set up and design.

Looks so much like Painter 7 *_* (downloads and tries)

Edit: I just tried it out, er...it has a problem with long brush strokes (the strokes appear as clunky and disjointed), and the colours sometimes react rather oddly to each other. Would love to know if there's a way to make a viable blender with this though, seems like a nifty alternative.

I have downloaded it, and it definitely has a painter feel. I have issues with the pencil tool, similar to what lyn experiences with other brushes.

ten times better than any of the painter classics. b takes you to brush and e takes you to eraser! HOW NEAT! best of all none of this when working with layers,

also runs pretty fast, thumbs up for me.

its really cool cause its free. respect.
yeah-like painter, but sadly copied the suck-parts too.
what jerrembear shows us here happend in painter too-depending on the medium you use-then you had to change the layer settings.
what i always disliked was that you couldnt turn off "real life feeling of media", like using white markers. it just goes the dark way, not light.
i think this one is quite slow. i used a 3000x3000 72dpi canvas. super slow (got 1 gig memory).
even smaller formats. maybe its the heat that slows it down ;)

*gives it another try*

keyboard setting sucks too. some stuff is similar but the zoom funktion doesnt work with space, alt, ctrl. you have to use + and -.

but still: its free damnit!

I tryed it and it's not working wery good with my tablet. Sometimes the brush go 100% pressure, even if i know i didn't press on pen that much...
But then again, my tablet sucks ^_^ (On the other hand, i had some problems even at office, where i have graphire 4 tablet T_T)
