I've never actually attended one, but apparently this does happen all over the world with different artists in different cities, towns, countries. Some of whom do it from their homes. I figured someone might find this of interest.

You wouldn't catch me walking around town with other artists drawing stuff as we went along and looking like train/plane spotters for all the tea in china (and I likes me tea!) It would be like that video for fat boy slim with the amatuer dance group only with pencils!

I promise not to point at anyone if I see them do it though

I would love to do something like this or participate in something like this, but there isn't one in or around detroit. if there's anyone from southeastern michigan that would like to get together, pick a town or city, and spend the day doing this, let me know!

The Sketchcrawl is a grest idea. Too bad no one in Philadelphia is organizing one. The closest one to me would be NYC.

If you get a chance to rent Spike Jonze Director Labels Series there is a documentary on that music video. Hilarious!

Still SketchCrawl sounds interesting.
