Check the highest rated artworks published in 2006 in the 2006 G-spot. Previous years are also available.

That's it. A little less stats than last year, but it clearly shows an increase in social activity and a little drop in artworks, critiques and votes. The artworks is no surprise with the artwork submission limit installed in May. New in 2006 were the (fairly) large scale community run competitions by

Crazyboy and of course

kittyKat.

Well that was 2006, let's make 2007 a creative and fun year. A big welcome to all new members and an even bigger thank you to all the members who've made GFXartist such a wonderful place.

That is it! This year I am gonna be a lurker! That is absolutely terrible! I spend way too much time here!

The guidelines did impact submissions, especially the 6 artworks rule, I won't debate that, but I'm all for quality over quantity.

Regardless, it's UP TO THE MEMBERS whether this be an 'ART community', or an 'art COMMUNITY'

HAHA, I knew 2006 was a slow year on artworks posted and critiqued on. I was one of the lead forum starters, interesting, very interesting. I didnt even post many artworks. Either way, Love you guys, Next year Carlos when I get back from all this navy stuff, Ill beat your number of critiques... MUHAHA!
