The Position: 2D/3D Animators - PS2 Adventure/Action Title
Our Needs
The energy and realism of a game's animations are a big part of how players judge its quality. Senior Animators play a critical role in the success of the project by producing animations that make players sit up and take notice instead of leaning back to relax.
We’re looking for accomplished 2D/3D Animators, with strong skills in traditional animation. We’re particularly interested in Animators who have incredible animation skill in the areas of martial arts and combat animation.
Key skill areas: · Experience at creating high quality animations for console- based games. · Experience with Maya or 3DX Max is highly desirable. · Character modeling, texturing and rigging skills are also highly desirable. · Willing to commit to an aggressive standard of excellence, and to reflect that commitment in personal work ethic, persistence and drive.
BFA from an accredited art/design school and/or equivalent combination of education and experience are desired for our experienced animators. We will train a less experienced animator who has incredible animation skill.
We’ve built our production team over the last 14 years by finding the best animators, artists, designers, producers and programmers and providing them with unique and creative career challenges. If you’re looking for experienced and supportive project management, a healthy team atmosphere, and an outstanding creative opportunity where high standards are respected and contributions are recognized, we would like to talk to you.
Contact Info: Please e-mail, mail or fax your resume and samples of your artwork to us. Animation samples should demonstrate a strong sense of timing, anticipation, recovery, weight and balance. Additionally, animations should demonstrate a strong sense of character and clarity.
