I keep getting a bad zip notice
 Hi sugar,

That's probably because you're trying to download the Torrent file without having a client such as BitTorrent installed. You can refer to the FTP/HTTP links at the bottom of the webpage for the actual ZIP or RAR versions insead, but grabbing the Torrent version is STRONGLY suggested as the primary method -- we have several highspeed people seeding. Links to Torrent clients can also be found on our website as well...

I kinda looked around, it seems they are a quite legendary ANSI art group who have now expanded into many other forms of art.
Almost correct. Yes they are a quite legendary ansi/ascii art group but they have expanded to other forms of art in the course of time (probably the ansi/ascii part of the whole scene becoming a bit dead had something to do with it). Anyway, this is their last artpack so it seems ACiD is now officially defunct. Looks like there is still one old and quite famous art group left now (iCE), who are completely into hirez and stuff. But i didn't hear anything from them for a while now... last artpack was made around november 2003... hope that they still are alive and kicking

I'm with kariefury... I was curious to what ACiD was all about, but their website doesn't do a very good job of establishing what they are about.
