Votes system bug and support problems

For those who have tried to get in touch with support but haven't received a reply by now, please contact us with your inquiry again. We've experienced some problems and I'm not sure if we've handled all issues.

As you may or may not have noticed, the vote system has been off for a while now. Votes no longer seem to expire properly and some old pieces have floated to the top of the galleries because of this error. We're currently trying to figure out what keeps going wrong.

Besides the votes the profile photo and avatar also had their bugs. These are solved now but I found my profile photo missing when I checked it so those who've tried to change their photo and failed may have to check if it's still there at all. Sorry for the trouble.

That'd be the damage report for now.

Would that include the "submit full-size image" link too? Because I can submit both the 64x64 and the 200x150, but the full submit won't work. It keeps giving me a "Page Cannot Be Displayed" error.

I really appreciate updated voting mechanism. From now it won't happen that somebody will cast zero accidentally (like I did when I was newbie here :p).

I think i've just found a bug too...

Safari 1.2.1 (v125.1) on OSX 10.3.3

I was trying to save a description and when i hit the "save" button Safari says: "Safari can't open the page "http://www.gfx.com/actions/edit_ArtworkItem.php" because it could not load any data from this location." - whatever that means, i can't save anything.

Yeah it seems we have some trouble with the actions. We've always had them and they seem to be the first to drop out once the server load get's too high. This is not clients side though so no browser it to blame. Just us ;)

The votes are back in control again. Though it takes a while to get back to how it should be we shouldn't be experiencing unexpired votes anymore.
