I love blender but I can only find it useful for Sculpting but saying that I've never really been a fan of vertex manipulation as i find it tedious.Blenders Scupting tools are amazingly powerful, espicially on a wacom tablet providing your PC has more than 1gb of ram.
I think blenders sculpting surpasses z-brushes, however this is my opinion and it is only better (for scupting) by a fraction.

dude this is a bad Idea, blender will change us but I don't think it will reach those stages ever, ow and don't give me that "I know about this kind of thing, just look at the article I wrote" chances are I've been working with blender a lot longer then you, and most other users out there, I still work on the latest releases..

the thing is I like maya's style a lot more not just the power and I also like lightwave more then blender for a similar reason.

blender serves as a pretty good stepping stone but that's all, why don't you post this article on CGTALK.com in the general discussions forum?!.... check out the reaction. unreal bad dream ( almost anti artist and diversity! )

Hi arno, you've got some great points there! I went to the Blender Conference, great experience. I've met a lot of great people there, and there was a lot of talk about this subject. I think the paying for free stuff idea rules! I'm really excited about the next gen Blender by Eskil, that guy is a genius!
