For anyone that hasn't been by Ror's homepage you have to do so. The massive amounts of skinning work is just mind boggling. You can really tell he loves what he does.

nice interview ror i really dig what you've been doing with "glazing" techniques.... ie using the blue in your skin for shadows. ive noticed it a ton in your paintings too, its very cool.

Hey Kevin, diito on the dretch comment with a my own personal addition to the <cough>bitter (mumble)<cough>... Sounds like things are going well. Yet another survivor of Turkenstrasse.

Glad to see you survived Germany and are doing well Kevin. What doesn't kill you just makes you <cough>bitter<cough> stronger . Work looks great. Another survivor of Turkenstrasse (now out of gaming and working on bad TV in Vancouver).

I totally agree about the new skinning style that these new games are starting to force. The more detailed the mesh and the fancier the lighting tech becomes the more limited the skinner is. Just like Ror said, there's no more ignoring the mesh.

I wish, and I'm sure Ror does too, that I could've spiced up the interview with some U2 shots. But unfortenately that was not possible at this time. Hopefully this will keep you warm until then.

heya Ror, good stuff mate, Being honest in some ways I agree with Pea about the skinnage but hey, change isn't always a bad thing and they're still killer. Nice interview, good points to consider. Good luck on your future projects #Raz0rBlade

all it really missed was some of his older works really, to show those not in the know of his history a bit about where he started. plus, i'm a big fan of his older skin-work (his newer too, but he's not as deeply rooted in the higher polys-stuff yet as he was in the q1 stuff ) ror: that sure was a nice interview (you even managed to steer clear of typos, and, most importantly, (and your favourite ) large, lengthy rants ) *m
