"Before you start: This is a straightforward step-by-step description of how I work, using Adobe Photoshop 6.0. This method will work with any paint program, however, or even with oil or acrylic paint. This tutorial was originally written for some members of the eatpoo forums who were interested in my technique, and covers only the actual painting process, not the planning stages (composition, anatomy, et cetera).
