CGchannel reviews Shave and a Haircut

Xen Wildman, one of our colleagues over at CGchannel, recently posted a review of Shave and a Haircut, a plugin which enables you to add realistic looking hair and fur effects to 3d models:

Many of you out there already know about Shave and Haircut and what it is capable of. I personally have seen what it can do beforehand, in the form of a plugin for the popular 3d application, Lightwave. I first got a real look at shave when a friend of mine (Sama3d) demonstrated it to me. When he told me that it was coming to Maya I was excited and have been waiting to try it since. For those of you that are new to this plugin/program, Shave and Haircut is designed to bring to you realistic hair and fur effects. It allows the user to cut and style hair and fur any way you please, and its almost easy enough that any regular hairstylist can use it. "Thuper-duper".
